Encounters With Food
October 2017
Encounters with food was a public presentation of a series of encounters between curator Rachel Grant and five artists: Tako Taal, Shireen Taylor, Norma D. Hunter, Beatrice Charnley and Louise Foreman.

An invitation was placed with each artist to design a meal which together we would; source, cook and eat. The event was a space to introduce and examine each encounter presented by the artist and framed by an introduction to the project by Rachel Grant. The event also included participatory actions from Louise Foreman and Norma D Hunter.

The project was support by VACMA (Visual Arts and Craft Makers Award) Aberdeen.
